Classic cinema of the 50s with Frank Sinatra, Eleanor Parker and Kim Novak in the main roles. Frankie Machine, the king of poker addicted to heroin, leaves prison. He's left the addiction and has discovered his new passion _ playing the drums. He also wants to start a new life with a beautiful woman, but his wife is waiting for him at home and she needs money for rehabilitation. To get them, Frankie gradually returns to his old life.
